Arvada Harvest Festival Parade

Welcome and thank you for your interest in learning more about the 86th Annual Arvada Harvest Festival Parade. The parade has grown to be the second largest parade in Colorado and the biggest "community" parade between LA and Chicago.

The Arvada Harvest Festival Parade exists solely to bring delight to every spectator, participant and sponsor. It is presented by the Arvada Jaycees, Arvada Harvest Festival Committee, Arvada Harvest Festival Executive Committee, and hundreds of community volunteers. 

The 2011 parade theme is "Science Fiction and Science". This is your opportunity to maneuver your robots, strut your alien costume, sing a song in Klingon, or drive your float with a model of the Enterprise. It's all fun! By the way, the theme for the 2012 parade is "Sports".

Along with the 20,000 spectators, some parade regulars are 17 marching bands from across the state, participants in the 3rd annual Colorado Bandmasters' Parade Championships. Joining them are community groups, clubs, and businesses as well as local schools. Each parade entry is well presented to the viewing audience by 30 emcees at 15 reviewing stands along the parade route.

The Parade Committee invites you to join the parade on September 10, 2011 in Olde Town Arvada. The parade will start at 9:00 AM on the corner of Grandview and Wadsworth Blvd. The route is 1.25 miles long plus staging distance. Send your application today!
